WOYWW March 10th 2015

Hello Dear Reader another week of showing our desks and snooping at desks across the globe. I have been working out in my new craft room when it is warm enough out there as the heat is not connected up yet.

I have taken this photo on Tuesday afternoon after an day spent with my lovely friend i knew that my desk wouldn’t be changing much between now and then…… apart from tidying up!

As you can see today we was working on the dining table in the warmth of the living room :)  I was having a play with my friends new stamp set to see if it grabs me……. its nice but not sure if i need it……. yet!

I have also been up to lots of colouring on my quest for the perfect alcohol markers for me;

  3. One of my favourite things to do in life is playing with and testing out new pens. Also, If I see a squiggle pad next to the pens in a stationary shop, I cannot resist! Hope you find a use for your stamps:) Lucy #4 x

  4. Is that the same 'need' that I get for fabric?? Lol. You've shown admirable self control if you haven't bought those stamps by now. Oh wait...you've been buying markers instead! The hedgehogs are fab but do look as if the fake tan was used a bit freely ;-)

  5. Love the hedgehogs. I spent a day with friends playing with each others stamps and colouring. :-) I tried the SU blend abilities. I'd not bought them as I have promarkers. Glad I didn't as they have withdrawn them from sale at moment. Anne x #32

  7. Just look at that wonderful sunshine. We have had snow and cold and now lots of rain and cloudy days. Sunshine would be so welcomed right now! Cute stamps...I'm trying not to buy more right now. It's time to use up some!

  9. cute hedgehogs and baking in the sun is a good thing I am doing lots of it. As for markers I like Tria's they require only one, come with multiple tips and a replaceable ink tank. They all blend together and you don't have to have families. I play with my friends stamps all the time it is sometimes the best way then you don't waste money un-necessarily. I hope you have a wonderful week.

  10. Now that's interesting! I am just testing out some newish alcohol markers. I normally use Promarker but have never really considered myself very good with them. I now have some Chameleon Pens and they are brilliant. I shall be posting some of my samples soon. They work in a slightly different way as the blender pen is in the lid of each pen so you are able to get lots of tones with each pen. I believe they are only available at the moment through Create and Craft.
The company link is http://www.chameleonpens.com/ They have transformed my shading ability.
Thanks for the visit and ending hugs, Angela x 31

  11. I think you are quite right to test them out before investing in what can be a quite pricey purchase.

  17. Love your cute little hedgehogs, we don't have them here so I wouldn't know if the colour was wrong, but they are adorable. Good luck finding the right markers, I've been trying to find a white pen for ages and they all just blend with the colours underneath, so I feel your frustration.
    Have a great week,

  23. What is it about markers? I haven't got any so I wouldn't know. Perhaps it's contagious and I shouldn't go near them..... The hedgehog is fine by the way. They come in all sorts of shades and colors. This one is just a bit darker.... still a cute hedgehog.
Thank you for visiting earlier in the week and for your kind comment.
Sorry I'm so late with this but the house we were staying in in Italy didn't have internet. My son does but we were not able to go to his house as the village was/probably still is completely snowed in. Wednesday morning I went to a coffee bar that had wifi and posted my little contribution.
I'm now back home and catching up on stuff, downloading photos and keeping the washing machine going.
    Have a great week,
    Lisca

  24. Love your hogs...I know what you mean about committing to buying stamps though. In the past I have had a stamping session with friends where we all borrow each others and stamp lots up for others to use, saves money and is always fun seeing what others come up with.
Thanks for visiting my desk already
